Of the approximately 230,000 children ages 0 to 17 living in Southwest Florida, roughly 46,000 currently have a seriously debilitating mental disorder. Providing services and financial support to these families has not been a top priority for the State of Florida nor the Southwest Florida Region.

Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida’s new Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative will assist children in our community with mental health and behavioral disorders and enable them to receive the proper diagnosis, the best resources and necessary treatment.

Your tax-deductible philanthropic gift will provide essential funding to create a program, hire mental and behavioral health professionals, offer in-patient and outpatient counselling and therapy, assist with case management and navigation, and support families of children with behavior and mental health issues.
